About Me

I have a short journey but a long story and everyday is a new chapter. (Bryant )

I was born and raised on the South-Side of Chicago. Growing up in a neighborhood filled with poverty, high crime rates, high murder rates, high health diseases and many other calamities I learned at a young age that most people in the world learn to live with and accept the conditions of their life without ever trying to change it. I was fortunate enough to not fall victim to that think and mindset but I realized that many people regardless of economic status, ethnicity, nationality, gender, or age all fall victim to their current situations.

I found a love in helping people go from being mastered by their life to being masters of their life. I first helped myself. I development I strong love for myself and a strong spiritual base and with the combination of the two I have been able to be a master of my own life. My dreams are no longer dreams, my wishes are no longer wishes, and I no longer say “What If”. My dreams are now plans, and wishes are now goals, and now I say “I’m in the process of”.  I have learned how to live in life and not just exist. At the age of  21 i have become master of my my own Life.

Education Presently:

I am currently a Student at Northern Illinois University planning to receive my B.S.  in History. I will be graduating December of 2010. Afterwards I will be pursuing my Graduate’s Degree in History/Education and Eventually my PH.D in History.

Projects/Events:

I am actively involve in the community. Helping people stretches far past motivating them sometimes you have to lend a hand also. I mentor young men in the community. I speak at local community centers, elementary schools, Boys and girls clubs, and on my college campus. I not only speak on how to improve your life but I also speak to the youth on the importance of history in understanding your identity and shaping your future.
